Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"typical local coffee shop but selling special barley coffee. good for try."
"Like the kopi, some special drinks here, like barley mix coffee, milo mix coffee ~ worth to try"
"The 1957 burger is super nice!! I love their teh o limau ice too!! Nice packaging with a gift card, you made my day."
"The young lady boss here is super friendly. Came here all the way from PJ to try out the barley coffee. Foods and drinks are good but to me, is not like a repetitive order where I will travel ~25km just to get the beverage every week. If there is another branch in PJ, then yeah why not. Hence, worth trying at least once, and its more like your friendly neighbourhood nice kopitiam."
"For drinks, I did not like their signature Cap Holiao (Coffee + Barley), but their kopi beng is super nice!!! For foods, I tried all their breads. UFO bun with Kaya and Iced Butter is the best, the rest is not bad, but too common."
"Love the smell of coffee in the morning and it tastes good too Had the yummy roti bun for a quick breakfast. Will be back for nasi lemak, fried mee hoon and chee cheong fun too. Clean place , friendly service and you can choose to sit outside or inside. Reasonable prices and lots of parking around the shop"
"Friendly staff. The bread also very nice. They put generous amount of butter."
"The drinks (minuman) here are really, really good (sedap). Did not try the food. According to one employee, the assam laksa food stall moved to PJ. (September 2022)"
